Really easy walking distance to the entrance of Petra. The buffet and breakfasts were very nice.
We left a 'travel pillow' in the room when we checked out. Realising this, we returned but there was no real effort from staff to check the room and find it.
It's location being very close to Petra Gate
Our room has cigarette smell, bartender at the pub was unfriendly
Lokated just 6 min by car to Petra/ If you have no car it will take aproximately 30-40 min walk, better to take taxi. Very comfortable and clean rooms, good staff with exelent english. Free car park and big swimming pol. Good breakfast
Evening dinner in the hotel restaurante was poor but the view was exelent!
Its close proximity to Petra and reasonable prices.
Although we booked a triple room as we were 3 adults and 1 toddler, the staff had hesitation on showing us the triple room. They tried to flog the twin rooms on the upper floors which looked very old and dull. We persisted and in the end settled for the twin rooms next to the pool which were really good sized, clean and opened to the swimming pool. However, we still don't know how their triple room looks like ! Having said that, we really enjoyed our stay there. The restaurant had good breakfast and staff were courteous.
Great facilities staff were always on hand to help. State of room was immaculate and very comfortable.
The restaurant was only open and available during specific hours. Also I think the breakfast should served till at least 10am instead of 9:30
Very clean , full of leatest gagets , a place from the past , near petra, fantastic, hotel with charcter town center location
A very nice hotel with a very good staff..Very well located in the center .A very nice view if you are in the good side.Staff always smiling and friendly..A mervellous moment in this hotel..Tks so much at all the staff and hisham..
just connection internet a little bit expensive...
The receptionist was welcoming and well informed who quickly suggested an itinerary for our two days stay at Petra. The hotel's apple flavor sheesha was the best that I ever had. Though hotel is basic but ambience is quite relaxing.
Rooms were bit too crumpled and tiny. I didn't find hotel tour guide for Petra as good as was adviced by staff, reasonable chap with basic knowledge and basic linguistic skills, good champanion though.
Excellent location, best value for money accommodation and meals in Petra. The Australian Service Manager, Aya, is exceptionally friendly and very informative - providing much appreciated local knowledge and advice.
Excellent hotel..I liked the Turkish Bath it was a nice trial..also the breakfast was very good..The staff are friendly
There was a problem in internet connection
Nice room with a view, excellent breakfast, equally excellent lunch and dinner buffet for a very good price, staff very kind and helpful. Don't forget to try the Turkish bath.
Absolutely fantastic place to be. Room was really clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Toilets were impeccably clean. Swimming pool and turkish bath facilities excellent for the price you pay. Most of all though the staff make it a 5 star hotel. Everyone is extremely friendly and the reception staff are so helpful they're like your personal tour guide to the area. Best money i've spent on a hotel ever.
The breakfast menu doesnt change, but it's pretty good so it's not really a problem!
Amra Palace is a comfortable and clean hotel. The dinner buffet is good and great value. The outside terrace has good views and there is a good sized swimming pool. Top of the list is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The bedrooms are small with not much hanging or drawer space if staying for longer than one night.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff is incredible, one staff member even charged my GPS device in his car cause my battery was down.
Location is fairly tricky to find, especially when coming with your own car.
Good location, clean, friendly and well kept
The breakfast was the poorest we had during our trip across Jordan
